Job Description: The IT Director is responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of all computer systems, servers, and data security systems. The candidate will ensure that the internal IT structure of the enterprise remains up-to-date, and avert possible cyber-attacks for greater productivity as per company policies and procedures. Overall, the candidate will work independently and with third-party website and security vendors to manage all servers, network equipment, and other related IT infrastructure while ensuring business continuity. Job responsibilities include:
- Install effective security network and computer systems
- Maintain, repair, and upgrade all operating systems including hardware and software.
- Monitor performance of existing IT infrastructures while maintaining the relationship of our third party IT services.
- Perform data backup and recovery processes
- Develop strategy as it relates to the organization's IT infrastructure (computer and information systems, security, communication systems)
- Develop, manage, and track the IT department's annual budget
- Consult senior-level stakeholders across the entire organization to identify business and technology needs and to optimize the use of information technology
- Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring systems performance
- Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems
- Manage all technology assets
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5 years professional working experience in IT
- Ability to work independently
- Sound understanding of computer systems, networks, security, telecommunications, databases and storage systems
- Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects
- Solid working knowledge of all relevant coding languages and security protocols
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team oriented
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, computer science or related field preferred
