Job Description:​ The Events Intern is responsible for assisting in the successful execution of TPUSA’s national summer events, Young Women’s Leadership Summit (June 13th-15th) and Student Action Summit (July 11th-13th). This position will be located in Phoenix, Arizona at the TPUSA Headquarters. Interns will report directly to the full-time events administrators.

Specific duties for the Events Intern consist of communicating with event attendees, coordinating administrative work, booking travel arrangements, and a variety of other duties related to the planning and execution of TPUSA events. This position requires a high level of professionalism and absolute confidence at all times. The Events Intern is required to attend our summer events and work the events from start to finish. The ideal candidate will first fit the company culture, embodying the following traits: grassroots humility, warrior spirit, and persistent innovation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Impeccable organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Google Drive (Google Docs, Sheets)

  • Past administration and events experience
  • Previous involvement with Turning Point USA
  • Knowledge of Airtable and Accelevents (or similar platforms)
