ABOUT THE POSITIONS: ​TPUSA Faith Summer Interns play a key role in advancing our mission to equip the American church to stand boldly for truth in every sphere of culture. Each intern will be assigned a focus area and contribute meaningfully to our national initiatives through research, logistics, communication, and event support. This is a hands-on opportunity to be part of a fast-moving faith-based organization impacting churches across the country. We are hiring for four separate internships and their descriptions can be found below. Please state which internship you're the most interested in within your cover letter when applying.

1. TPUSA Faith Summer Intern - Believers’ Summit

Job Description: This intern will help drive momentum for TPUSA Faith’s flagship event by assisting with outreach, logistics, and engagement efforts surrounding the Believers Summit. They will connect directly with pastors, church leaders, and members of the faith community to support registration efforts and ensure a successful event experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the promotion and preparation of TPUSA Faith’s national Believers’ Summit
  • Call and follow up with pastors, ministry leaders, and members of our faith community to invite them to the event
  • Confirm registrations, manage RSVPs, and maintain tracking systems
  • Support event planning logistics, including attendee communication and supply prep
  • Collaborate with the Events and Pastoral Relations teams on special assignments leading up to the Summit

2. TPUSA Faith Summer Intern - National Church Database

Job Description: This intern will play a vital role in expanding TPUSA Faith’s national church database by strategically identifying and organizing key information on churches across the country. Their work will help drive future expansion efforts and strengthen our engagement pipeline with churches and faith leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and compile detailed information on churches across the U.S., such as their location, denominational affiliation, and contact information
  • Enter data into internal database with a high degree of accuracy
  • Help identify missing information, duplicates, and inconsistencies
  • Assist in organizing churches by region, denomination, or key categories as needed
  • Support the expansion of TPUSA Faith’s national church outreach strategy

3. TPUSA Faith Summer Intern - Admin & Data Audit

Job Description: This intern will support the Faith team’s internal systems and national initiatives by assisting with administrative operations and data audit efforts. From optimizing internal systems to ensuring clean and accurate data, this intern will help power the backbone of TPUSA Faith’s operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist TPUSA Faith’s administrative team with internal systems, documentation, and team support
  • Participate in the ongoing Data Audit project by reviewing pastor profiles in HubSpot
  • Update contact information, remove duplicates, and ensure compliance with marketing permissions
  • Provide logistical support for internal communications, administrative initiatives, and events.
  • Help with general admin operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day function

4. TPUSA Faith Summer Intern - HQ Projects

Job Description: This intern will assist with key operational projects and faith department initiatives based at our national HQ. They will support the execution of local and national events, help manage materials, and contribute to projects that advance TPUSA Faith’s mission on the ground.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the HQ team with various operational tasks and special projects
  • Assist in planning and preparation for national events like Pastors’ Summit and Believers’ Summit
  • Participate in local TPUSA Faith events and initatives as needed to provide hands-on support and execution
  • Help organize and manage event-related materials, resources, and logistics
  • Serve as an integral part of the TPUSA Faith HQ team, contributing to key projects that advance our mission

Minimum Qualifications for Internships:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Google Drive (Google Docs, Sheets)
  • Willingness to fulfill all duties listed and any additional duties assigned
  • Passion for conservative politics
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for the dynamic work environment

  • Strong work ethic and goal-oriented
  • Self-starter and self-motivated
  • Punctual and very responsive

  • Strong religious conviction and actively engaged in faith efforts
  • Proven skills facilitating civic engagement
  • Past/present involvement in conservative organizations
  • Previous work experience with building pastoral networks

All internships are located at TPUSA Headquarters in Phoenix, AZ. This is not a remote position. Interns are responsible for their own accommodations for the entirety of the internship, as well as having a reliable mode of transportation and proof of insurance when applicable.
